This paper reports outcomes of the researcher’s NSC project, and aims at the investigation of the practicum implementation status in the Arts and Humanities domain with eight study questions to be answered. Questionnaire surveys were distributed to student teachers, as well as their mentor teachers and supervising professors of the “Music-” and “Fine Art-” related departments at the three Normal Universities and nine Teachers Colleges. The obtained results of two research questions indicated the following points: (a)The triangular situation of student teachers, mentor teachers and supervising professors agreeable supported the value of instructing related issues; disagreement was found, however, on the issue of student teachers’ “classroom-managing skills” and “attention to the education status and problems.” In students teachers’ opinions, the daily supervision of the mentor teachers was most helpful and crucial; and (b)as to their opinion about whether “Arts and Huamanities” domain curriculum caused any problem, the three sides all expressed their concern. The most frequently cited problems included “the curriculum integration problem,” “the expertise problem,” “the policy-making prlbem.”
