The internet is a new tool. Its meaning is about technology. Teaching composition with the internet assistance is to let student experience the process of writing with the features of immediacy, interactivity, and limitlessness in time and space. It enriches the content of the class teaching and increases the interests of students. However, changing the tool might cause the transition of ideas and values, which also influences the strategy application of writing. Reading directly from the PC monitor makes the development of the internet literature towards shallowness and lightness. It thus alters the attitude of creation; creators' ideas and values will be diverse from the traditional writers. Teaching composition with the internet assistance adopts the method of the traditional writing, which emphasizes on the development of appreciating pure and elegant aestheticism instead of the need of screen reading, which is intuitive and shallow. The internet, nevertheless, is a platform of sharing. Through introducing the internet into the teaching of composition, its freeness and fun will definitely bring impact on the traditional writing. It will be a meaningful observation of its involvement. Writing is that authors used the languages as a kind of media to represent the world perceived. A traditional relationship between the authors and the readers is connected through the printing press. Yet, no longer can a work be distributed solely via the printing because of the advancement of the internet world. The purpose of teaching composition with the internet assistance is to give students different experiences of writings. Moreover, facing the direct impact of the internet on literature, students can learn the difference and sameness of the two. The study therefore aims to describe this phenomenon from the teaching perspectives.
