本研究透過深度訪談並以詮釋學的觀點試圖理解五位資深冒險教育指導員的故事,從中找到讓指導員們繼續支持在此領域工作的方法與力量來源。由研究結果可得知,讓資深指導員繼續在此領域工作有四股支持力量來源:來自於自己的力量,包括:正向的思考、對工作與自身能力的適當認識以及貼近工作本質的價值觀;來自工作的力量,包括:和參與者的接觸以及冒險教育的精神中所得到的成長和學習;來自他人的力量,工作團隊和生命重要他人支持;來自生命意義的力量,資深指導源可由個人發展、創造、與自然的連結以及宗教與心靈等四部份體現意義感,並將此工作認定為是自我生命的一種使命和追尋。
The purposes of this study were to understand the stories of five senior outdoor adventure instructors using Hermeneutics approach. Through the study, I try to find the sources of supports and power that let them remain on the outdoor job. According to the results, there are four sources of supports to keep them in the fields. (a) the personal inner energies, such as positive thinking, appropriately knowing personal competence and the value of the job. (b) from the power of the outdoor job, such as connection with participants and the personal growth and learning through the spirit of adventure education. (c) other people, such as working team, and the significant others. (d) the personal meanings of life, such as personal development, creativity, connection with nature and individual religious/spirit. They also identify the outdoor job which is a personal calling and a journey of self-searching.
