The starting point of this article is from a practical helper who has worked in the school, government agency, and social welfare institutions. I have tried to sort out my practical experiences, reflecting on the original intention of choosing to become a helper, and consequential confusion in practical work. I have been looking for the meaning of being a "helper" in the process, trying to explore my own perspectives on things and the world in general. My method has changed from telling stories clearly, to writing stories, ultimately expressing my thoughts and exposition in these stories. Later I have realized that the method of telling and writing stories have become my way of revisiting, exploring, re-recognizing, and coexisting with the world.
This study uses phenomenology and hermeneutics as research orientation, narrative as presentation of text, and text as research material. Originating from revisiting and exploring, I firstly look for my foothold as a helper, and secondly look for the way to coexist harmoniously with the world. Therefore, I present my experience in the school, government agency, and social welfare institutions through revisiting the perspectives of my practical experience. I also reflect and explore the nature and significance of helping people and plan to re-examine different workplaces and the implementation in current practice via looking through various frames.
Finally, I use narrative as a starting point of restoring and reflecting on the world. I then experiment, verify, explore, and explain my own life experience, in order to gradually try to practice my role as a helper in a game-like way.
