2012年電影《柳如是》中運用了戲曲大師湯顯祖的《牡丹亭》的元素，呈現明清流行文化最重要的崑曲藝術。本文除了對傳主「柳如是」的相關影視作品作相關文獻探討，並分析通俗電視電影劇與歷史傳記劇之間、編劇的巧思美感呈現、傳統戲曲音樂的設計與運用，探討漢文化的影響與運用。
