     本研究旨在測試綜合大學和科技大學大四學生的英文閱讀技巧,並比較兩者之間的差異性。 測試項目包括試讀技巧 (Previewing Skills), 理解技巧 (Comprehension Skills) 和重述技巧 (Restating Skills) 三方面。在受測的五百一十四名大四學生中,來自綜合大學的大四學生共二百五十三人;來自科技大學的大四學生共二百六十一人。研究結果顯示:(一) 綜合大學與科技大學大四學生在使用閱讀技巧方面仍有待加強;二者均過度依賴低層次的閱讀技巧 (Bottom-up Methods), 而忽略了高層次的閱讀技巧 (Top-down Methods)。(二) 綜合大學與科技大學大四學生在四項試讀技巧,五項理解技巧和一項重述技巧有差異。
