　　　　　本研究旨在測試綜合大學和科技大學大四學生的英文閱讀技巧，並比較兩者之間的差異性。測試項目包括試讀技巧（Previewing Skills），理解技巧（Comprehension Skills）和重述技巧（Restating Skills）三方面。在受測的五百一十四名大四學生中，來自綜合大學的大四學生共二百五十三人；來自科技大學的大四學生共二百六十一人。研究結果顯示：（一）綜合大學與科技大學大四學生在使用閱讀技巧方面仍有待加強；二者均過度依賴低層次的閱讀技巧（Bottom-up Methods），而忽略了高層次的閱讀技巧（Top-down Methods）。（二）綜合大學與科技大學大四學生在四項試讀技巧，五項理解技巧和一項重述技巧有差異。
