柬埔寨獅子橋村的土生華人不論生活貧苦與富裕,亦把婚姻視為人生大事,其婚俗文化具有不同于高棉族、也不同于"落葉歸根"父輩和祖輩的"亦土亦洋"文化特色。當今,獅子橋村土生華人婚俗文化的變化涵蓋了婚姻類型、跨族通婚和婚禮儀式展演等內容。可認為,這種變化是土生華人為適應生存環境而做出的文化適應,他們已自覺自愿地融合進柬埔寨主流社會。當然,在這種融合的過程中,土生華人也有所保留,即保持中華文化的優秀傳統和價值觀。

Regardless of being rich or poor,"Zhao Zhen" people in Spean Tor Village of Cambodia consider marriage as a major event in life.Their marriage custom is different from not only Khmer custom,but also the combination of Chinese and Khmer customs conducted by their parents or grandparents.Today,such a marriage custom has changes in the marriage type,inter ethnic marriage and wedding ceremony,which can be seen as a cultural adaption that "Zhao Zhen" people make to get with the living environment.They are willing to integrate into the mainstream society of Cambodia,however,"Zhao Zhen" people have reservations in the process of integration to keep the excellent traditional Chinese culture and values.
