Chinese poetry has unfolded the spirit of expressing one's goals and affection, emphasizing on human's internal experience world. The literary improvisation of poets was a performance that reflected on the external world's influence on one's consciousness. This pattern originated the process of human's mind status led by the environment changes. In the Tang Dynasty, some poets were enlightened by the Zen meditation, which trickily transformed their improvisation manners for the feelings involved with the mind and external objects during the poetry creation. Worldly scenes were not just the objective targets for inspiration; furthermore, poets participated in meditation and contemplated upon human sins besides that they adopted a serene and inward lifestyle through subjective perspectives to counteract two opposing forces, mind and external objects while creating poetry. Slowly these two elements interacted and consolidated together. This sublimed poetic scene was newly invented for such " Neither mind nor objects" and "Both mind and objects", in which the spirit was revolved around the spiritual maintenance skills, and that was shaped by Zen meditation experience and further to enrich the poetry creation patterns. This updated aesthetics perception sense and inspiration source moved poets and changed their thoughts into the focus on the aspect of spiritual experience development and poetic scene cultivation. Thus, this essay is to discuss about the inspiration of Zen meditation experience for the poets in the Tang Dynasty to envision poetic scenes for poetry creation. In addition, through the manner of inner meditation and poise to attain poetry inspiration, which had gradually formed the poetry-learning pattern by poetic medication, we can track back to the source of the "analyzing poetics metaphorically with Zen" development in the Sung Dynasty."
