由於校長的思考會影響其如何處理問題(Hallinger, Murphy, & Leithwood, 1993;Leithwood & Steinbach, 1993),面對同樣的問題,不同校長的理解與思考不同,其處理問題的方式也可能會不相同。因此,探討校長思考的內涵,以及如何加強校長領導理論與實際作為之關聯、減低校長言行之落差,以及重新建構校長的思考等主題,相當重要。
