「章法」由「陰陽二元」所形成，以凸顯篇章內容材料的邏輯關係，是含「篇法」在內的。而其結構，一面靠「移位」、「轉位」作橫向的拓展，一面又藉「包孕」作縱向的推深，以組織成完整系統。就在此系統中，由「篇」結構作下徹統合，形成「篇」結構系統；由「章」結構作上徹歸屬，形成「章」結構系統。一般短篇作品，適合將「篇」與「章」合成一個系統；若是長篇作品，那就必須將「篇」與「章」分開來呈現。無論分合，都可藉其陰陽變化所產生之「勢」，以輔助觀察它們對作品意旨與風格之影響，見出章法結構系統的多樣及其價值。
