題名:諮商人員專業認同歷程分析研究

摘 要
本研究旨在透過質的研究的方法,探討諮商專業人員對諮商專業的認同歷程。選取受訪問者時,考慮其在專業發展過程中的轉折次數,兼顧很多轉折和很少轉折的對象,共有二十個諮商專業工作者接受訪談。
分析訪談結果,諮商人員的內涵是指:曾經受過諮商專業訓練,在可以進行諮商的職位上,實際上進行個別或團體的諮商工作;且在進行諮商工作時,不會受到所在機構的不當干擾;在諮商的進行中,要能和個案建立深度且有意義的關係;並且有能力處理較高難度的個案。這些條件都是諮商工作者在思考自己是不是一個諮商人員時的根據,他們會以此來判定自己是或不是一個諮商人員。
在認同歷程的分析上,將諮商人員的認同歷程分為:一、背景因素:包括早期的模範、早期展現的助人者特質、利他主義的價值觀、對深度接觸的偏好。二、被吸引並進入諮商專業的關事件與過程,包括:背景因素的影響、師長朋友的鼓勵或榜樣、想要了解或拯救自己、某些課程的吸引、與諮商相關專業的接觸經驗、機會與環境因素的影響,最後因而入行接受專業訓練。三、在接受專業訓練時或之後,受訪者可能經歷對自己或對專業的懷疑,而產生了因應懷疑的努力。當懷疑被順利超越,則能對諮商專業獲得進一步的認同。四、在接受專業訓練時或之後,受訪者亦可能因個案或督導的回饋、參加工作坊、被諮商的經驗等正向成長因素而對諮商有不同的體驗或認識,因而對諮商產生進一步的認同,更加確認自己是一個什麼樣的諮商人員。五、諮商人員對未的展望,亦可窺知其對諮商專業的認同狀態。
本研究最後整合以上五要點,建立諮商人員專業認同歷程模式,並對諮商人員教育、諮商人員及後續研究做出建議。
The Research on Counselor''s professional identity process.
Abstract
To understand the counselor''s professional identity process, twenty counselors was deeply interviewed.
The interview was begun with a question: "Are you a counselor? Why you are a counselor?" The answer to the question was analyzed to determine the content of counselor. According to the analysis of these questions, a counselor is the one who take the position that is allowed to provide personal counseling or group counseling service, and doing counseling without the interfere from political policy.
A counselor should also have the ability of grown up a meaningful and helpful relationship with client, and should capable of treating difficult client. While a counselor could suit the expectation above, he would think himself as a counselor. On the other hand, one who cannot fit these standards would fail to identify himself as a counselor.
Counselor''s professional identity process model was constructed to describe the professional identity process of counselor. Finally, suggestions were given according to this model.
