In this paper, I raise the factor of life attitude that did not occur to me before beginning my trip. With this intervening variable, it appears to me that the tree most-mentioned factors of historical legacy, economic conditions and education policy are becoming more and more intertwined. This leads me to suspect that it might be the lack of positive images of Yi ethnicity in the process of schooling as a possible explanation for the low enrollment rate. To reform the current deadlock, what the local community believes relevant to their ethnicity should be incorporated into the school curricula. Current ethnic education, which has nothing to do with ethnicity, should not be called ethnic.
