本文即試闡述後現代思潮對於教育哲學研究所產生的衝擊與挑戰,進一步從後現代的觀點來省思教育哲學宜有的取向,提供教育理論建構與教育活動實施的參考。本文指出,後現代思潮已經成為了當代哲學研究的基本成員之一,無論其觀點、方法與內容都已經成為了哲學教學與研究的一部分,教育哲學亦不外,唯本文認為,並不能發展出一種如分析取向教育哲學般的「後現代取向的教育哲學」,因為後現代是多元、多向、混雜的,可能無法為其找到一個像分析取向教育哲學以「分析」做為主要的定向。因此本文僅嘗試從後現代的觀點來省思啟蒙現代性影響下的教育觀,首先批判了啟蒙現代中的核心概念如普遍理性、絕對真理、整體性、同一性與主體性,進而提出「後現代的轉向」,要求重新檢視啟蒙理性主導的代教育目的、更加注重對於差異的尊重與理解,以及提出「為他者存」的他者倫理學,做為另類的教育哲學思考。
Through the theoretical approach, this paper aims at analyzing the impacts of postmodernism to the study of philosophy of education. Firstly, This paper points out that postmodernism has been a basic topic in the study of philosophy of education, but there is not a study approach called postmodernism for philosophy of education. Secondly, this paper criticizes the modern ideas in enlightenment such as universal reason, absolute truth, totality, identity and subjectivity. Finally, it suggests a postmodern turn to reexam the aims of education, emphasize that respect and understanding for the others, and promote a view of being for the other in ethics.
