本文企圖在解消現代性的殖民作用中,檢視建築專業的理論與設計方法的建構,在知識論與方法論上可以發現:依賴現代性的啟蒙預設,進一步指出其空間美學的特徵,是建築專業的自我認同的建構來源,也是對日常生活殖民扭曲的開始。面對變遷與流動的生活情境,反映這流動不羈的再現是基本的審美態度,以前衛精神、創新為號召的招魂旗則遍佈於社會空間的進步場域之中。另外更為抽象與絕對的審美企圖成了所有專業的預設心態,因為能詮釋抽象與絕對的審美企圖時,是具有啟蒙作用的。現代性以臺灣的現實而言應辨明它的殖民作用,站在批判建構的立場,解消「殖民現代性」(Colonial Modernity)的空間反思;空間是「社會空間」,應為大眾相應認同的空間。那麼理論作用與設計方法更應回歸「日常生活空間」的努力,現有理論與設計方法的歷史視野中,日常生活的「身體經驗」構築仍然缺席,專業的語言與一般大眾的日常生活無法順利溝通。解構不應是唯一解答,日常生活空間之美感經驗的說出與傾聽共享!正是提供專業的生活世界化,而非系統化的一條可實踐的途徑。
This paper intends to explore the architecture theory and the design method by the way of undoing the colonial effect of modernity. In the epistemology and methodology, the professional presupposition can be found that architecture theory and design method depend upon the modern enlightenment. Furthermore the spatial aesthetics of modernity is the source of architecture professional self-identity and also the beginning of colonial distortion of everyday life. It is the aesthetic attitude to reflect and face the changing and flowing life situations. The flags of calling the spirit of avant-garde and innovation are spread throughout the progressive society. In addition, the abstract and absolute aesthetic motive has become professional presupposition because it is quite enlightening if the abstract and absolute aesthetic motive can be well explained. For Taiwan's reality, the colonial effect of Modernity should be clearly identified. Being in the position of critique, we should undo the spatial construction of "Colonial Modernity", The "space" here is referred to "spatiality", social space, should be corresponded with the practice of space of everyday life. Then the architectural theory and design method should be returned to the space of everyday life. Reviewing the theory and design methods, the daily life "body experience" is still absent and the professional language does not communicate well with the civil daily life. But deconstruction should not be the only answer. The aesthetical experience of everyday life to be presented and shared will be the possible way to have the professional life-world realized instead of systematized.
