二十一世紀是知識經濟的時代，教育發展要因應知識經濟社會需求，教育系統革新是必要的。本文首先說明知識經濟的重要意涵；其次分析知識經濟對於教育發展的衝擊，從教育目標到人才培育都將會有所改變；接著詮釋知識經濟發展中教育新思維，包括倡導「知識」的價值、鼓勵「創新」的精神、結合「科技」的力量、以及培育「再學習」能力，最後提出知識經濟時代的十一項教育政策。

The 21 century marks the age of knowledge-based economy. Education system has to reform in order to meet the need of knowledge-based economy society. This paper first explains the nature and characteristics of knowledge-based economy. Next, it discusses the impact of knowledge-based economy on education development, including the change of education goals and human cultivation. Then, it analyzes the new thoughts of education in the knowledge-based economy age: (1) to prompt the value of knowledge; and (2) to courage the ethos of creativity; (3) to congregate the strength of technology; (4) to cultivate the ability of life-long learning. Finally, it introduces 11 educational policies to knowledge-based economy age.
