The purpose of this study is to understand abused women’s transition from the problem- solving in domestic violence and saving marriage relationship to ending in divorce. This study applies in-depth interview to collect qualitative data. the results of this study show that this phenomenon is constituted with three themes, including “information asymmetry of assistances”, “participation in social work treatment” and choices of problem eliminating”. The theme of “information asymmetry of assistances” shows that abused women may face problems by themselves, because of indeterminate communication between social workers and abused women. The theme of “participation in social work treatment” finds that social workers have too much workload to take women’s problems into account. The theme of “choices of problem eliminating” indicates that there are a lot of factors to influence abused women to confront the problems of family violence and marital instability.
