本研究的主要目的是探討專家學者、家長和家庭保母對保母人員工作基本能力重要性的看法與其差異性，並嘗試訂定保母工作基本能力指標。研究樣本的選取分為兩階段，第一階段研究採問卷法，計收回專家組問卷60份、家長組49份和保母組76份；第二階段研究採問卷調查及焦點座談，樣本為10位具全國社區保母系統巡迴輔導委員資格的專家學者，以及由保母系統所推薦的優質保母10位。研究結果發現專家學者、家長和保母在全部67項保母重要能力中，有34個項目在三組人員的看法上存在顯著差異。在基本能力指標部分，研究者依各組共識聚焦出十二項能力，可作為保母職前訓練課程內容順序調整與課後評量的參考指標。

The purpose of the present study was to conduct experts’, parents’ and child care givers’ perceptions of the basic competency for family child care givers. Research samples were selected by 2 stages. In the first stage, survey method was used. Sixty questionnaires of the expert group, 49 questionnaires of parents group and 76 questionnaires of child care givers group were collected. In the second stage, participants were different from the first stage. Ten experts and 10 child care givers were investigated by focus group interviews and questionnaire survey. Results showed that 34 of 67 items were different significantly. Finally, twelve items were selected as basic competency indicators. These indicators could be used as a reference for pre-service training courses sequence and ability assessment.
