This study intends to discover how religious groups in Pingtung County manage the resources they put into community cares, and to understand the development of community care stations and their characteristics through in-depth interviews. We found that community care stations operated by religious groups have the following characteristics: (1) sufficient volunteers but loose teamwork; (2) adequate financial resources from truly religious benevolence but lack of specialization; (3) highly motivated service crew but improper organization; (4) a vast network but not enough mobility.
