With the increasing accessibility to various trail systems built by the government, the environmental ethics and movement of leaving no trace (LNT) have gained elevated attention. In this research, a questionnaire survey was conducted to evaluate the tourist attributes, environmental perception, and spatial behavior. Yuanzaishan and Chingshuiyen representing national and regional trail systems were selected respectively.The number of valid questionnaires is 441, and the results indicate that:1. The environmental perception and traveling behaviors can be affected by tourist' essential attributes in various trail systems.2. The elder, married tourists and experienced hikers are more sensitive to the substantive environment condition.3. The traveling behaviors of young and numerous group tourists do not conform to the LNT concept.
