因著性議題於心理層面之重要性，以及於實務現場中的多元性與日俱增，在諮商心理師養成中缺乏性議題相關訓練的情況下，本文從探討性於心理學理論中的意義出發，透過文獻和實務經驗的整理與探討，從性／別敏感的觀點整理出臨床工作中與個案談性的方法和原則。本文以性／別敏感為視框，從「個人、人際與結構」三個層面整理出性議題處遇的建議，可提供心理師自我檢核。此三個層次分別為：一、個人層次：意指心理師本身對於內在性／別刻板的省思，以及此對於個案概念化和後續處遇的影響。二、人際動力層次，包含尊重個案談性之意願與步調、關注治療中的語言與非語言層面、性、性／別與權力界限、情慾與投射議題。三、結構層面：關注社會中的性／別相關事件與政策擬定，以及反思個人與政治間的連動如何展演於個別治療。期望此文能開啟心理師教育和訓練對性議題處遇的重視，以及帶來更多關於性、性／別議題處遇的研究與討論。
