Bronfenbrenner的生態系統理論對諮商輔導領域有很大的影響,其微觀系統、中介系統、外部系統到鉅觀系統之生態系統概念,經常是研究或實務工作者作為了解服務對象或個案周邊系統及互動的視框,其理論發展迄今已經超過四十年,仍廣受喜愛及應用。但是,衡諸國內多數引用Bronfenbrenner概念之研究,只聚焦於討論不同系統的運作分析,較少考慮到個人和系統、系統和系統之間的交互作用,顯示對其理論之應用較欠缺深度與廣度,且未納入後期的理論版本與研究概念。因此,本文透過回顧Bronfenbrenner理論的發展歷程,介紹其三個階段的理論發展重點,探討相關研究側重面向,再針對其最新版本之理論進行介紹,詳述「近側歷程-個人特徵-環境脈絡-時間」模式(Process-Person-Context-Time model,簡稱PPCT模式)內涵。最後,建議未來基於生態系統概念之研究,說明是基於何階段之理論,重視生態與發展效度,希冀提升研究者對該理論的認識與應用。
