The purpose of this study is to explore personality traits, the degree of learning satisfaction and learning effectiveness at tourism and hotel restaurant management department for students nowadays and is also to understand the differences and correlations among these three items analyzed. Four hundred and fifty-eight valid self-assessment questionnaires samples were collected from students at vocational high schools in northern Taiwan. Descriptive statistics, Independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation were performed for data analysis. The data obtained from 458 questionnaires were analyzed and showed that most of the students in personalities belong to the extraversion and followed by agreeableness. Professional teaching and environmental education equipment showed its No. 1 and bottom ranking individually at student learning satisfaction survey. In the learning effectiveness, learning aspect accounts for high score but behavior aspect does not. With different backgrounds, the student's study motivation has significant influence on personality aspect. The variable of school district significantly influence the learning satisfaction aspect, Four variables inclusive of study motivation, school district, household income and maternal education level have statistically influence on the learning effectiveness aspect. Personality, learning satisfaction and learning effectiveness were all correlated well to each other.
