在中國歷史上，北亞民族曾扮演過很重要的角色，然而，以往由於歷史文獻都是 以漢民族的歷史為主，長期忽略了北亞民族在歷史上的地位。本文認為北亞民族在中國歷史 上以及人類歷史上都有很重要的地位，必須建立一個以北亞民族為主體的北亞史研究新領域 。同時，如果從北亞史的觀點重新來看中國歷史，更有助於建立多元觀點的中國史研究。 基於如此的理念，本文首先闡述北亞民族在歷史文化上的自主性。其次，列舉各種理由說明 以北亞民族為主體做為一個研究領域的重要性。再其次，闡述北亞民族對中國歷史發展的重 要影響。再其次，以北亞民族為史例，說明中國歷史上的民族關係。最後，從多民族國家的 觀點，對當前的「中華民族」論提出省思。總之，本文希望從北亞史的角度，改變中國本位 的中國史觀點，以豐富中國史的研究。

　　　　　The North Asia nations have ever played a very important role in Chinese history.Over the past years, most historical documents have valued theohistory of the Han nation so much as to neglect the historical status of the North Asia nations. As far as this article is concerned, the North Asia nations have a signigicant place both in Chinese and human history. Thus, to construct a new field concerning the study of North Asia history, regarding the North Asia nations as the main body,is quite crucial. At the same time, restudying Chinese history, from the perspective of North Asia history, is much more instrumental in developing Chinese history research with multiple perspective. In accordance with such an idea mentioned above, first of all, this paper illustrates the independence of the North Asia nations in history and culture. Second, this study specifies various kinds of reasons to expound the significance of regarding the North Asia nations as the chief part to act as a research field. Third, this paper clarifies the significant influences the North Asia nations have on the development of Chinese history. Fourth, taking the North Asia nations for an example, this article elucidates the relations among the nations in Chinese history. Finally, this study reflects upon the current proposition of "The Chinese Nation" in terms of multi-national viewpoint. To sum up, from the angle of North Asia history, this paper hopes to change the standpoint of departmentalism as regards Chinese history so as to enrich the field of Chinese history research.
