　　　　　本文認為心理學本土化的提問，並非全然沿著反學術殖民的脈絡開展， 同時是對心理學學科知識本質的挑戰。將本土化運動視為取消西方觀點的化約邏 輯，不但窄化本土化意義作為世界體系社會知識進行創造性轉化的企圖，而且遮 蔽本土化心理學當前視野，模糊文化意識所蘊生的生活多元性。文中提出「本土 全球」和「全球本土」概念，並以社會心理學為例，說明實證心理學著重心理表 徵主義，輕忽社會脈絡的樣態，正給出本土化思維的著力位置;進而藉由迎向他 者心理學的時代來臨，嘗試理解本土化的歷史實踐意義。最後以後現代主義的時 代精神為媒介策略，鋪陳貫時性的文化傳統與共時性的生活現象，來凸顯差異 的、去中心的、多元的、在地的一種浮動知識版圖，這是深度精緻本土化論述的 形構質素。因之，本土化不應視為心理學現代化/理性科學化的未完成方案，而 是「後心理學」年代，一種新興的知識類型。
