本文對《老子》特別是《老子》第六十七章的流傳情況及其思想主旨,提出了自己的見解。認為,各種解老、注老和重編《老子》新本的用意雖然各有道理,但更應重視《老子》通行本,因為它畢竟是流傳了兩千多年、對歷史已經發生重大影響的文本,這本身就是一個不容忽視的事實。就具體內容來說,"三寶"是《老子》六十七章的主題,也是《老子》之學的主要意旨,幾乎《老子》的每一篇都能見到此意,成為踐行大道的具體和主要的內容;或者可以說,"德"是"道"的實行,"三寶"是"德"的內涵和應該踐行的主要內容。由此看,整個《老子》的思想是一個整體。

This paper discusses the circulation and the intellectual substance of the Laozi,focusing on its 67 th chapter. First,although there have been various texts interpreting,annotating,or re-editing the Laozi for their own reasons,the current received edition deserves more consideration insofar as it has circulated for over two thousand years and strongly influenced history. Second,as for the text itself,the "Three Treasures"—which are contained in almost every chapter—should be taken as the main idea in the Laozi’s teachings,becoming the principle content of the practice of the great Dao. In other words,De( virtue) means to hold to the Dao,while the "Three Treasures"are the connotations of De. From this perspective,one can consider the Laozi’s thought as a whole.
