題名:助產專業知覺量表之發展與測試

正當台灣助產教育面臨轉捩的關鍵時期,有關助產系學生及助產人員對助產專業知覺、知識和態度等方面的探討有助於提昇台灣助產教育,其中對助產專業知覺的探討對助產教育尤其重要,故本研究之主要目的為發展一具有信度和效度的有效測量工具,以探討台灣助產系學生的助產專業知覺。 初擬量表27題,各題項以李克氏5點量尺計分。預試施測之研究對象為南台灣某科技大學助產系四技四年級學生43名,初擬量表經初次測試及項目分析後,刪除2個題目,保留25個題目,形成正式的助產專業知覺量表,包含助產人員的角色9題、助產人員的功能9題、助產人員與其他產科醫護人員之分工與合作7題。正式施測之研究對象為同學校助產系二技一、二年級和四技三、四年級學生,共計161名。研究結果顯示,「助產專業知覺量表」具有良好的信度和效度,足以有效測量助產系學生對助產專業看法,未來更可有效的評值及改進助產教學,作為重振台灣助產教育的實證參考。
During a critical time in the development of professional midwifery care in Taiwan, research into perceptions, knowledge and attitudes among midwifery students and midwives will help promote midwifery education. As studies of perceptions of professional midwifery are critical to midwifery education, this study creates an efficient measurement instrument with good reliability and validity for assessing perceptions of professional midwifery held by midwifery students in Taiwan. The questionnaire consisted of 27 questions with responses measured using a 5-point Likert scale. Following a pretest with 43 midwifery students at a private university in southern Taiwan and item analysis, two questions were deleted. Among those 25 questions, 9 were assessed understanding regarding the role of midwives, 9 examined midwife functions, and 7 analyzed cooperation and negotiation between midwives and obstetric medical personnel. The questionnaire was distributed to 161 students in 2-year and 4-year midwifery programs at the same private university. Following the pretest and test, survey results demonstrated that the measurement scale had satisfactory validity and reliability and is a valid instrument for investigating perceptions of midwives. The researchers believe that the scale can be utilized to assess and improve midwifery instruction and provide empirical reference for the promotion of midwifery education in Taiwan.
