|The final purpose of Japanese language education is to train cultural exchange capability of students. In Taiwan, Murakami Haruki is a very popular writer. And, his works should be read by the Japanese students. After students read Murakami Haruki's work, what kind of cultural change will occur? I am interested in that as one of Japanese teachers. Murakami Haruki contributed an essay to Asahi Shimbun on September 28, 2012. Over 20 years ,in the East Asia cultural sphere equivalent exchange of culture is attained and many cultural results are alternating across the border. Murakami Haruki fears that the maturity is destroyed by the friction of Japan, China and South Korea involving a territory. What is Murakami Haruki's cultural view? In this paper, Murakami Haruki's cultural view will be clarified by "Yagate Kanasiki Gaikokugo". From early 1991 until the fall of 1993, Haruki Murakami lived in Princeton, New Jersey 2 and a half years. "Yagate Kanasiki Gaikokugo" is a collection of essays. It records the life and thoughts of Haruki Murakami in Princeton. Reading this book, you can observe the international view, cross-cultural view, and linguistic view of Haruki Murakami. I look forward to the results of this study can contribute for Japanese language education
