本研究係針對自1990年森林小學設立之始,至2014年實驗教育三法通過頒布為止的這段期間,進行非學校型態實驗教育研究成果之質性研究後設分析。研究者透過搜尋六個中英文電子資料庫,並利用系統性評閱研究方法,就所檢索出共十三篇符合旨趣的研究成果,採取質性後設研究中的兩大取向研究方法進行綜合分析。首先使用Sandelowski量化取向的質性後設摘要進行資料檢索與分析,接著採用Noblit & Hare詮釋取向的後設人種誌進行資料轉譯與綜合,獲致結果如下:
一、臺灣從1990年至2014年的非學校型態實驗教育,是以「受教者中心」為創建理念。
二、課堂教學走出教室、校園,環繞在學生個別差異及結合學校特色,服膺「生活即教育,教育即生活」的教育理想。
三、非學校型態實驗教育允許有學生有空堂,學生能擁有個人的學習步調,展現自動自發、自主的學習態度。
其他重要研究成果:非學校型態實驗教育彌補了體制內教育的缺失、學生來源大多來自認同其理念者、家長是學生在學習道路上重要合夥人、其教師對於工作相當投入並懷有高度熱忱。
This study aims to present a meta-analysis of qualitative studies on the Non-school-based Experimental Education in Taiwan from the establishment of the Forest Primary School in 1990 and the enactment of the Three-type Acts of Experimental Education in 2014. Through searching six Chinese and English electronic databases, the researcher used a systematic review of research methods and two methods of meta-analysis of qualitative studies with different orientations to proceed a comprehensive analysis of a retrieval of thirteen articles meeting the purport of the study.
The researcher at first used Sandelowski’s quantitative orientation of the qualitative post-summary for the data retrieval and analysis, followed by Noblit & Hare’s interpretative orientation of the meta-ethnography for information translation and synthesis. The main results were summarized as follows:
First, "student-centered" is the founder idea of non-school-based experimental education in Taiwan from 1990 to 2014.
Second, teaching is no more within the boundary of the classroom or the campus, but around students’ individual differences and link up with school characteristics, thus correlate with the educational ideal "life that is education, education is life".
Third, non-school-based experimental education allows students to have empty classes in their study timetable, consequently, students can have individual learning pace themselves, showing the spontaneous and independent learning attitude.
Lastly, there are other important research results, such as non-school-based experimental education make up for the deficiency of education within the system, most of the students come from those who agree with the ideas, parents are important partners for students in their way of learning, and the teachers devote themselves to their work with great passion and enthusiasm.
