〈新中國未來記〉是梁啟超新小說的實驗成果，其文得自梁氏1902年前最著迷的進化論，在開篇建構「未來史觀」，並與其新史學精神、政治關懷串聯成梁氏獨特的「小說救國學」。筆者認為〈新中國未來記〉具有巴赫汀（Mikhail Bakhtin, 1895-1975）複調小說論辯體的形式，而此形式呈現內在梁啟超的掙扎，是一種徘徊於革命、立憲的前現代時期知識份子模式，展露了梁式進步史觀與現實渾沌交集下的衝突心境。
“The Future of New China” 〈新中國未來記〉 was taken from Liang Ch'I-ch”ao 梁啟超 fascinated Evolutionism before year 1902 and is the result of new novel experience by Liang Chi-Chou. It creates not only “the view of future history” at the beginning but also combines the spirit of new history and concerning politics becoming special Liang's “Rescued Novel Literature”. I recognize “The Future of New China” have the style of polyphonic novel's dialog. This style shows Liang's inner struggle that is a kind of wondering between revolution and constitution and becomes standard for contemporary intelligentsia. The struggle emerges Liang's impact as his spirit between evolutional concepts and actualized situation.
