The purpose of this study is to understand the effects of individual, family, and preschool condition on child-care satisfaction for parents in Taipei public and private nursery school. The framework of this study is based on Ecological Systems Theory and Developmental Theory. The questionnaire "Child Care Satisfaction for Parents with Young Child in Taipei Area" is used in this study as the source of quantitative research in collecting the data. The total sample of this study is 1011 parents with children aged 2 to 5 and cared by public and private nursery school in Taipei County. The findings are: (1) "gender" and "age" are two important effects on parents' childcare satisfaction in parents’ individual factors (2) The effect of family factor on childcare satisfaction for parents with young child is limited. Only the family supporting system can significantly affect the satisfaction. (3) The influences of the nursery schools' situations are the main effects on childcare satisfaction for parents with young children, such as the fee, the childcare subsidy, the interactions between teachers and parents, and realizing children's daily activities.
