本研究旨在探討高雄縣市地區高中教師之靈性健康情形及其相關影響因素，採用問卷調查法，以研究者自編的「高中教師靈性健康量表」為研究工具，隨機抽取高雄地區高中教師為樣本，共發出問卷609份，有效卷568份，可用率為93.57%。資料以SPSS for 10.0套裝軟體進行描述性統計、t檢定、單因子單變量變異數分析、單因子多變量變異數分析及薛費氏事後比較法等統計方法處理。研究發現如下：一、高雄地區高中教師靈性健康情形應屬良好。二、不同背景之高中教師其靈性健康有部分差異。三、年齡較長、有宗教信仰及生命教育研習時數較多的高中教師，在整體與部分層面之靈性健康均顯著較佳。四、不同性別、教學年資較資深、婚姻狀態及子女數的高中教師，在整體靈性健康上沒有顯著差異，但在部分層面上達顯著差異。五、不同任教科目、任教職務、學校屬性及家人健康狀態的高中教師，在整體及分層面之靈性健康均沒有顯著差異。根據本研究之發現，分別對教師、學校及教育行政單位，以及後續研究之建議。
