摘要 本研究鑒於社工員與外籍配偶因處在不同的生活世界，彼此間不論在生活方 式、價值觀、信仰以及文化背景都存在著差異。因此，當社工員在面對外籍配偶個 案時所具備的專業能力是一個值得關切的議題。本文運用Weaver 所提出的「文化能 力」觀點，從知識、價值與技巧三個概念指標來檢視社工員在面對外籍配偶個案所 應具備的文化能力。本研究期待將「文化能力」的概念指標融入於社會個案工作， 作為社工員在面對外籍配偶個案時可能的社會工作處遇模式。

Abstract This study in view of the fact that the social worker is in different life world with the foreign spouses, undoubtedly they have different beliefs, values, lifestyles as well as traditional cultures. This also analyzed the treatment of social workers’ to the foreign spouses case despite the given differences. Thus, this study applies the concept of Weaver’s culture competence: knowledge, value and technique to inspect the social workers on how to manage the foreign spouses situation. This study anticipates to integrate the “culture competence” in social workers’ work in facing foreign spouses case. As well as for the social workers’ to consider applying this method in terms of handling of foreign spouses case.
