Fatherhood becomes a topic from 1980s in North America and Europe. In Taiwan, recent changes in modern families have facilitated the interest in fatherhood as well. Thus, the study tends to explore the course and subjective responses of becoming and being a father from an interactive perspective. The interpretation of the person involved and it's processing becomes the focus of this study. The results would help to improve parenting education, gender equity in family and fathers' involvement in childcare.
