In a general way, life education can be studied from the perspectives of depth, width, and process. In this paper, we limit ourselves to a study of the depth of the problem, i.e. the ‘body-mind-spirit’ structure of human beings. The paper has three parts: part two, dialectical method as a way to nourish spiritual life, especially the role of negativity and the function of synthesis; part three, the relation between life education and cultural life, how a ‘body-mind-spirit’ balanced person lives in harmony in a culturally diversified society, which is also the topic of the width of life education.
