摘要
本研究旨在探討高齡者的學習參與、社會連結與靈性健康的關係。為達研究目的,本研究採用問卷調查法,以北部七縣市樂齡學習中心的55歲以上的學習者為研究對象,採用分層比率抽樣,共抽取有效樣本726人;研究工具為「高齡者學習參與、社會連結與靈性健康調查問卷」,包含「個人基本資料」、「學習參與量表」、「社會連結量表」及「靈性健康量表」等四部分,問卷資料經進行統計分析後,獲得以下九項結論:
一、高齡者的學習參與態度積極及成效良好,屬中上程度。
二、高齡者的學習參與性別、年齡、教育程度、健康情況、宗教信仰等背景變項有關。
三、高齡者社會連結大致良好,屬於中上程度。
四、 高齡者社會連結與性別、健康情況、經濟情形、宗教信仰等背景變項有關。
五、高齡者的靈性健康大致良好,屬於中上程度。
六、高齡者的靈性健康與年齡、教育程度、健康情形、經濟情形及宗教信仰等背景變項有關。
七、高齡者的學習參與與靈性健康具有正相關。
八、高齡者的社會連結與靈性健康具有正相關。
九、高齡者背景變項、學習參與及社會連結及對靈性健康具有預測力,且社會連結為部分中介效果。
根據上述研究結論,本研究提出以下建議:
一、高齡者應持續參與學習活動,強化社會連結,以增進靈性健康。
二、高齡者可透過宗教信仰或靈性課程提升靈性健康。
三、高齡學習機構宜多開設各類心靈成長及人際關係的學習課程,以增進高齡者的靈性健康。
四、高齡學習機構宜培訓高齡教育師資具有靈性知能,以提升高齡者的靈性健康。
五、政府應持續提供足夠的經費與資源,以落實高齡教育。
六、政府應擴增高齡者參與機會促進社會與連結,以提升靈性健康。
七、未來研究方向可探究其他研究變項、研究對象及研究方法。
Abstract
The main purposes of this study were to investigate the relationship among elder learners, the social connection and spiritual health. To achieve the purpose, the present study used questionnaires to survey the learners 55 years of age or older at Senior Citizens Learning in northern part of Taiwan. Using stratified proportional random sampling method, total 726 valid samples were drawn. The research tool is "The questionnaire of the relation among elderly learning participation, social connection and spiritual health", which contains the following 4 parts: "basic personal information", "learning participation scale", "social connection scale" and "spirituality health scale". Through statistical analysis of the questionnaire data, we obtained the following nine conclusions:
First, the elder learners participate in the mid-to high level.
Second, the elderly learners’ learning participation is related to gender, age, education, health-related background, and religion.
Third, the social connection among old learners is good in general, at middle-to-high level.
Fourth, the social connection of the elderly learners is related to gender, health status, economic circumstances and religious beliefs.
Fifth, elder learners are spiritually healthy in general.
Six, the spiritual health of the elderly learners are related to the status of their age, education,health situation, economic situation, and religious.
Seven, learning participation and spiritual health of elder learners have a positive correlation.
Eight, social connection and spiritual health of elder learners have a positive correlation.
Nine, the background variables, learning participation, and social connection of the elder learners have predictive power for their spiritual health, with social connection as part of the intervening variables.
Based on the aforementioned conclusions , suggestions for elder learners, intitutions of senior citizens education and government agencies, and future researchers are proposed
