Life education is one of the most important issues of educational reform in Taiwan. There are so many educationists devoted to design the curricula and teaching activities about life education. All of the works they have done just wish we can make children know what life really is. This study focuses on the perspective of Romanticism and its inspirations or implications for life education. And the aims of this study are to investigate the proposals of educational planning and the difficulty it is suffered in the practice of action research on life education in elementary school. From the results of this study, we find the biggest challenge of practicing life education is the pressure from the essential nature of school authority system and social value. However, teachers should respect the whole character of pupils, and always inspect their own ideas and actions. Under this circumstance, we hope we can let our children know how important life is in the learning progress.
