The integrated application of the digital image to the cosmetology styling curriculum has become a trend in recent years. This study employed the literature review and questionnaire survey methods and used the attitude analysis of the subjects as the segmentation variable. The results of this study suggest that the factors affecting the learning implementation include the image retrieval and hair styling effects, overall effects of make-up, content of the curriculum, learning effects, professional knowledge, professional skills, practical knowledge and practical skills. Based on a cluster analysis of the factor scores of the subjects, the learners were divided into three clusters: the “more-work-required”, “quietly-working” and “proactively-working”. The results show that most of the “proactively-working” group are professionals with experience in cosmetology, demonstrating positive attitude towards the curriculum. The majority of the “quietly-working”group, a high percentage of which work in the hair styling business, have no feedback on the curriculum. The “more-work-required” group mostly includes the young people with no related work experience in the cosmetology field and they highly recognize the benefits of the curriculum content in the understanding and application of the professional skills.
