This article aims are re-interpreting the Confucian classical from the viewpoint of the ethics of care. The author implements the ideals of Nel Noddings' ethics of care and Riane Eisler's partnership education to the interpret on work. Nel Noddings' ethics of care emphasized the maintaining and reinforcement of caring relations, which means to learn to be receptive responsive. Riane Eisler uses the dominator-partnership model as a tool to examine four social structures including: childhood relations, gender relations, economic relations, and the traditional beliefs, myths, and stories. These two types of theory are used to re-interpret some related chapters in the Confucian classical in this paper. The aim of this paper is to make dialogues between feminism and Chinese traditional classics, so that the Chinese traditional philosophy could accord with female's needs, experiences and thoughts, and function well in the new era.
