Taiwanese society, due to its global economical connection, has formulated a trend for caring local cultures. Therefore, finding the right persons for inheriting and preserving the ”traditional folk arts” is becoming the most important matter for the sustainability of Taiwanese traditional cultures. The Son-Jun folkloric team of Shih-Chien University is the first of its kind composed by university students. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to examine whether students in this specific team can be interested in the traditional culture and then try to understand their consciousness of cultural identifications. The students, participating the Son-Jun team in Shih-Chien University, are the major subjects of this study. Regarding to the formal survey, convenient sampling is used for 127 copies. The outcome of research shows that there is distinctly different effect on cultural identification after students's joining the Son-Jun team and then their practically experiencing related activities. Finally, result of the utilizing the approach of LISREL analysis showed, participant cognitions have positively significant influences toward practical experiences and cultural identifications, and practical experiences have positively distinct influences toward cultural identifications. Therefore, the result of this study enables to be contributed as a reference for educational organizations to understand that many activities of present folkloric artistry in Taiwan are facing withering and then to find out the methods of improving and maintaining these traditional artistries.
