In recent years, questions of cultural diversity, gender pluralism and citizenship rights, have become crucially important to public policies. In particular, debates on these issues increasingly refer to practices involving the family, marriage, gender roles, and gender equality. The first part of this article will develop the concept of ”gender pluralism” to analyze transgenderism as an optic through which to view such pluralism entails an intervention against the grain of much writing on gender and sexuality. Secondly, knowledge is power. The most important thing is to improve the development of education and training police officer, carrying out a gender analysis, and providing new knowledge for human rights. The police are the most visible manifestation of government authority responsible for public security. While being under enormous pressure that the rising tide of gender equality, cultural changes and the human rights issues, the police must not only execute law legally but respect human rights at all times.
