題名:青少年閱讀漫畫動機與行為之研究

     漫畫研究在國內傳播研究中還在起步階段,本篇為對國內青少年閱讀漫畫的動機和青少年對漫畫內容是否認為反映社會真實進行之初探性研究。本文主要在探討青少年為何喜歡閱讀漫畫?到底看了那些漫畫?青少年從這些漫畫獲得那些滿足?以及他們認為漫畫世界反映了社會真實嗎?研究發現青少年閱讀漫畫相當普遍,也發現漫畫能滿足青少年追求「好笑有趣」、「畫面美觀動人」和「打發時間」等動機。在認知真實部分,青少年對漫畫的「舒解」功能評價最高。本文作者最後並就相關問題提出討論和建議。
     Comic books have been popular in Taiwan for four decades. The high school students were obviously acquainted with the characters of comic books. A survey was conducted to investigate the motivations and dimensions of adolescents as reading comic books. The study includes dimensions focusing on readers' beliefs about the possibility that some of the lessons of comic books might be useful for them in constructing their own lives (utility) and about the possibility of establishing a close affinity for a character or characters in comic books(identity). The study also likes to ask if the youth believe that the images in comic books are the same as the images in real life(magic widows). Finally, adolescents might find themselver enjoying reading comic much because they can make relaxation. Despite the good humor found in some comic, the survey finds that most male readers prefer heavy action comic while most female readers prefer romances. The study suggests the readers of comic reality are complex and dynamic.
