Day care services are part of the community service system, due to the nature of both elderly service programs and family support programs, its importance is becoming more and more obvious. The development of day care in Taiwan is relatively late, and it did not grew rapidly until the government promoted the "10-year long-term care plan". Depending on the nature of the service unit, day care provides care services for different purposes in medical or social models, so that the cases can still enjoy the family life, meet the expectation of living in a familiar home in their later years and receive formal care in the community.
