In the poetry of Luo Hsiang-lin, weights heavily on “simplicity”, “nature”, and “unworldliness” in his writings that related to customs, scenery, creative works, and lives in seclusion. The significance of “Hui-lang” in Luo Hsiang-lin’s poems is not only a place for self-nourishment, but also for self-cultivation. That is, “Hui-lang” plays an important role in spiritualism and transcendentalism as well. As a result, one can return to the geniun Taosim. Last but not least, his works bring life into the level of sublimation, transcendence and nirvana.
