This article attempts to analyze Chinese-language lesbian cinema: Butterfly and Fish and Elephant. It points out that general Chinese-language lesbian cinemas explore self-identity through the idea of "home", but neglect the meaning of "home". However on Butterfly and Fish and Elephant, directors seek to challenge Chinese traditional value- the meaning of "home", and intend to subvert the intrinsic value of "home". Therefore, this research with two dimensions includes the heterosexual home and the homosexual couple dwelling, and then to picture the image of "home". Finally, endow with diversified the meaning of "home".
