「職業倫理」(Professional Ethics)，強調地是遵循專業的道德規範。但欲明瞭倫理道德的概念並不容易。基本上，人們對於一般及公認的倫理道德之認知歧出並不太大，差異則是知而不行之故。故欲推動「職業倫理」，當自人內心中的價值信念教育起。朱熹(1130-1200)的讀書法，不但告知我們讀書的方式，並且在研讀的過程中，選擇天理而排拒人欲，這就是價值的選擇以及內化的歷程。以之方式推動職業倫理的認知及其養成，當有不同的啓迪。本文選擇儒學傳統中朱熹讀書法為例，說明倫理道德養成是一個嚴謹的態度，以之闡釋現今職業倫理該有的認知與學習。全文區分三部分論述，一論朱熹讀書法，二論職業倫理的蘊義，三就朱熹讀書法論對職業倫理義成之啓示，最後作一結論。

Professional Ethics stresses the importance of following the ethical norms of each profession. General ethical standards seem still to enjoy general acceptance. The only gap is between knowledge and practice. To strengthen professional ethics, the awareness of our inner ethical values is necessary. In his methods for studying Zhu Xi (1130-1200) not only spells out the methods for studying, but he instruct us about the difference between human desires and general norms (heavenly norms) and ways to transform the one into the other. This paper uses Zhu Xi's methods of studying from traditional Confucian thought to expound the importance of a serious attitude towards our profession. The paper consists of three parts: In the first part Zhu Xi's method of studying is discussed, in the second part the meaning of professional ethics is explained, in the third part professional ethics is discussed from a perspective based on Zhu Xi's method of studying.
