In 2015,Lee finished the novel Love World: Back to the Future at the age of 80. There are three motives behind the work: first, years ago Lee misread and disparaged Chung's Goethe's Passions and Yeh's Wet Dream on Butterfly Lane. As an apology, Lee offers his own creation; second, the novel deals with a theme that has been brewing on Lee's mind for a long time, one through which Lee hopes to express resistance against human practice that runs counter to the development of natural revolution; third, as an experienced novelist, the work is an attempt at and an experiment on new techniques and multifaceted writing style. This paper puts Lee Chiao's work, along with Chung Chao-cheng and Yea Shih-Tao's erotic literature into a dialogic context, to analyze how authors express deep beliefs and meanings through erotic writing; further, it focuses on the writing strategy of Lee Chiao's Love World: Back to the Future, to observe the connection between techniques and motives. In short, through expressions and techniques found in erotic literature, this article aims to reveal the profound meanings behind Lee's work, and to construct a certain eroticism of the author.
