This study utilizes action research to explore courses and efforts of children’s character educational groups. The research objects are 11 referral students from an elementary school to progress character educational team works in 8 weeks. All activities are designed by the topics of “Self-Discipline”, “Responsibility”, “Respect”, and “Honesty” as the core of character education to collect and analyze the information by utilizing the methods of children character checklists, subject of children character evaluation form, group unit worksheets, observation records of group activities and reflection notes. In conclusion, learning in character education is very important in children’s development of moral activities, it helps to improve children’s character behaviors and children’s adaptability in school if good cooperation between parents and the teachers. Based on the results of this study, the researcher provides some suggestions and solutions from the troubles during courses for future studies and as well can be the reference for other children’s character educational groups.
