題名:國民小學教師參與社區發展工作之角色期望及其能力自評之研究

本研究以965位國民小學教師為樣本,分析其對參與社區發展工作的角色期望與能力自評情形,結果發現:(1) 國民小學教師肯定應該參與的工作層面多屬社會教育或社區服務方面的項目;(2) 國民小學教師對自身參與各層面社區發展工作的能力自評水準偏低;(3) 國民小學教師對參與社區發展工作的角色期望水準不受性別、年齡、服務年資、教育背景、服務地區、學校大小等變項的影響;但其曾否研讀相關學科及是否了解學區內曾否實施社區發展方案,則有顯著的影響;(4) 上述變項中,除社區發展相關學科的研讀經驗及學校大小之外,其餘變項都會影響國民小學教師對參與社區發展工作的能力自評水準。根據上述研究發現,本研究提出下列六項建議:(1) 澄清國民小學教師參與社區發展工作的範圍與職責;(2) 加強基層社政單位與國民小學的協調與溝通;(3) 充實師資養成教育中對社區發展相關學科的學習經驗;(4) 充實國小教師參與社區發展工作的實務體驗;(5) 鼓勵年輕及女性教師參與社區建設與服務 工作;(6) 切實考核國民小學配合推行社區發展的績效。
This study examined the role perception and Capability evaluation of elementary school teachers on the participation of the community development program. 965 elementary school teachers were investigated in this study. The results showed that: (1) most of the roles for participating the community development program which were confirmed by elementary school teachers were related to the scope of social education or community services; (2) the level of the capability evaluation conducted by elementary school teachers were low; (3) variables such as sex, age, teaching experience, educational background, district of employment, and the number of classes were found not significant on teacher's role perception, but the experiences of studying the community development related courses and the understanding of the existing conditions of practices had significant influence on role perception. (4) variables such as the number of classes, and the experiences of studying the related courses were found not significant on capability evaluation, but other variables such as sex, age, teaching experience, etc. had significant inflnence. The results of this investigation were discussed and recommandations were made in terms of their implications for promoting the functions of teachers' participation on community development program in Taiwan.
