本文回顧批判語言學的緣起，綜合批判語言學的觀點，比較批判語言學和傳統 社會語言學不同之處，介紹批判語言學的文本分析五大法則，反省及批評批判語言學權 力觀的不足，並企圖建立所謂的「在地的」權力觀。 另外，本文也藉助批判語言學所發展出來的文本分析原則，輔以作者綜合各家權力 分析而得的在地權力觀，主要針對自由時報對於李宋會的新聞做三層次的分析。首先做 單純的文本分析，以批判語言學的文本分析策略揭示文本所顯示出來的權力觀，其次進 一步從文本的訊息中捕捉記者和其所處理的消息來源之間的權力關係，最後則從社會結 構、歷史情境等角度剖析新聞文本與外在結構之間的辯證關係。這樣做，一者用以展示 批判語言學在新聞文本分析上的運用，再者在於凸顯語言在建構社會真實上的力量，三 者用以檢驗本文綜合所得的「在地權力觀」在分析新聞文本上的可行性。 語言從來不是價值中立的，在新聞記者看似中立的報導中，往往隱藏了太多的意識 形態和權力關係，讀者只有在充分掌握了「批判的語言警覺性」以後，才能洞視在文本 中到處流竄的意識形態和權力關係。

　　　　　This study reviews the origin and development of critical linguistic, pinpoints the key point of view of it and furthermore compares the differences between social linguistic and critical linguistic. It also introduces the five most important rules of critical linguistic in analyzing text and tries to form a so-called local power concept, with it the author analyzed three newspaper reports during the last presidential election campaign in Taiwan. Language is never value-free. In the so-called "neutral", "objective" reporting of journalists, there are idologies and power relations to be revealed. It is the purpose of this article to enhance the "critical language awareness" of the newspaper readers.
