題名:從「互動觀點」看生活世界:社會建構主義與傳播研究

針對傳播學門主體性問題,本文主張,將人類生活世界視為一種互動產物之社會建構主義觀點,是將傳播行為放在最主要地位的研究取徑,有助於傳播學門主體性以及提升學門的社會影響力。為了進一步了解社會建構主義對建立一個獨立的傳播學門之潛在貢獻,本文將從以下兩方面來闡明白社會建構主義衍生而來的「互動觀點」,可以如何提升傳播學門主體性以及其社會影響力:(1)檢驗社會建構主義是否提供一個完整的「傳播解釋形式」?亦即對於人類生活世界是否提供適當的認知概念和有效的回應方式?(2)假如社會建構主義提供一個完整的「傳播解釋形式」,傳播學者應該如何在研究實作層面進行「傳播解釋形式」之傳播研究?
The purpose of this paper is to address the issues surrounding the disciplinary identity of communication and furthermore to propose social constructionism, characterized by its emphasis on the importance of interaction in understanding the social world, as the most appropriate perspective, in which communication scholars may find it possible to create a disciplinary mode of explanation. This paper starts with a specification of commonalities among various social constructionism approaches in terms of both their conceptual and research agenda. After this, this paper proposes to consider interaction as the core concept of communication studies, which, it is argued, can most clearly differentiate communication-centered disciplines from to the disciplines. The future development of communication studies in Taiwan is then examined form an interactional standpoint.
